Eco-Art

“The ecological artist of today works directly with nature creating site-specific installations that address the ecology of a specific region. Reclamation of brown fields, filtration of rivers, and restoration of wetlands are some of the activities that are currently being approached as art environments. These artists are concerned with creating a dialogue with the communities in which they are working. Their art is a metaphor of the kind of vision and passion we all need as a global community to live sustainably on this planet.”
